Huge believers of that gospel-blues-trash church of his, Casbah Records wished to dedicate the first edition of « Tale Tailors » to Reverend Beat-Man. Very much satisfied to see that this
project was about to become real, we asked another pal to work on the cover illustrations, Jean Luc Navette, also very much addicted to the core to Beatman’s music and a real ass-kicker when it comes to illustration. As a unique collection, « Tale Tailors » aims at giving an impression of closeness to the artist’s imagination. The idea is to ask each artist to work on a real narration, or a general theme to be discovered throughout the record by the listeners. “Broken Words With Rhythm and Poetry” is the jump into this adventure by Reverend Beat-Man.
